L.O.V.E. from a Tarot Reader's perspective

 

L.O.V.E    Everyone knows what it is, and most want some! The question asked of most readers is, “When am I going to meet ‘The One’?”

While it would be wildly exciting for a reader to share good news with all clients, unfortunately this isn’t always the case. Sometimes nothing shows up in the reading except milestones for the client pertaining to career, family, friends, etc. This can be exceptionally upsetting for the client who was hoping to receive good news, so they make appointment after appointment hoping that the reading will show something different. In some cases, they hop from one reader to another hoping to hear what they want to hear.

Another question that is often asked is, “Am I on a Twin Flame journey and when will I meet my Twin Flame?” Also a tough one to answer when the reading isn’t clear. It may show a significant other coming into the client’s life. The reader can share the character traits that shine through, and when it could possibly happen, however, there isn’t a defining answer whether it’s a Twin Flame or not. At one stage there it was thought that a particular card denoted a Twin Flame relationship, but I’ve come to realise that it’s not 100% accurate.

My advice to clients who want a reading around love is to take the reading with light-heartedness. While the reading may indicate that a deeply intense relationship is imminent, and the client jumps in head first without using their own discernment, they could be heading for heartbreak. One can become too complacent when insights have been provided – after all, the reading showed that only good was going to become of a relationship. But … hey … the pending good relationship may be hijacked in the meantime by a player who has no intentions of making a commitment, or worse. The pending good relationship that hasn’t shown up yet is then delayed … the client’s path takes a detour and the intended-one will still come into his or her life as divinely orchestrated, however, at a later date.

In my own experience, I’ve been told over years and years that I’m going to meet someone near water. This could be at the beach, a river, a stream, even a fountain. Every time I’m near water subconsciously the thought comes up, “Is today the day?” Just by the way, I’ve recently moved close to a river and I’m keeping my eyes peeled …haha!

There was a time when I was convinced that I had met my Twin Flame as I had very psychic experiences with the guy – picking up scents and smells and knowing instantly what he was doing, and feelings, and vivid dreams – until I couldn’t handle the heartache and I asked the angels to take away the connection. It stopped immediately. Now I keep my heart open to making a connection with someone who will enter my life at the right time. I haven’t put myself in a box and defined how and when. Actually, it’s more fun this way. Over the past months, I’ve met more men from all walks of life and merely observed them instead of sizing them up as a potential partner.

I want to share with you a personal experience I had many years ago involving the then love-of-my-life who visited a reader and took things literally. It damaged our relationship, broke my heart, but also opened up the path of spirituality for me.

I had been dating *Larry (not his real name) for a while and I was totally struck on this man. He was tall, dark, handsome, great shoulders, terrific tan, surfer … you know the type? My dog also loved him, which was +1000 points in my eyes. It was a few months into the relationship when Larry started acting up. He found fault with the way I did things. I simply couldn’t get anything right. I was a great sulker in those days, so I took to doing what I did best, and sulked. I clammed up. One evening he asked me to meet him for coffee and there in a restaurant told me that he had been to see a psychic! Well, I was all ears…

The old psychic had told Larry that he was going to meet many women in his lifetime and have many relationships, and that the next woman he was going to meet would be wearing a green shirt, carrying a briefcase and she’d have a cat (not sure whether the cat was with her or at home as that part wasn’t shared – still find that puzzling to be honest). I was waiting with baited breath – my mind was working overtime. I couldn’t recall carrying a briefcase at any time, I didn’t have a cat, but I had a green shirt though!

Larry baldly told me that the green shirt lady was coming after “The Loner”. “The Loner” was me, I’m The Loner. He went on to say that he’d met the green shirt lady a couple of days ago and our relationship was now tickets. He said that I shouldn’t feel bad though, because after the green shirt lady, he was told that he was still going to meet someone else …Like this was supposed to make me feel better.

Talk about being in a hurry to get through your lifetime to fall in line with what was forecasted.

Of course I was devastated so I stayed in bed for a couple of days to lick my wounds, and then made an appointment to see the psychic. I was pleasantly surprised by this dear old man who was on point with a few things he shared with me, and after the reading I confessed why I was really there – to see the person who had ruined my future for me.

“Oh Larry’s an idiot, don’t take any notice of him. I did you a favour. He’ll have many women in his lifetime and will struggle to commit to one. You were partners in a previous lifetime in France and you broke his heart then, and now it’s his turn to break yours.” I don’t know if that was supposed to appease me, but somehow it must’ve helped because I went home and packed up all Larry’s belongings, left them next to the outside bin, and then took pleasure in stomping on his alarm clock.

By the same token, the dear old man invited me to participate in his weekly group sessions and I toddled along and met a torrent of people who helped me open my mind and explore the spiritual world. There I met my spirit guide and was shocked to learn that I had a huge angel next to me who took up most of the room. My attention was now elsewhere and I was no longer pining for someone who didn’t appreciate me.

What my point is that when a reader picks up that the client is about to meet someone new, it’s not necessary to go into great detail about how and where it will happen, what the person will be wearing, what kind of watch he has, or if he’ll be wearing glasses … If I give you any details about the prospective suitor it’s because your angels or guides are channelling this through to me, and I’m being shown something in particular. Becoming caught up in the nitty gritty about what a person looks like or wears, may channel the client’s focus on to someone completely wrong for them, and they could miss out on an opportunity. Remember that we all have freewill, and if a reader makes a statement that a client is without a doubt going to meet someone with curly brown hair, blue eyes and gold-rimmed specs, that dear client is going to zone in on everyone with those attributes. It’s not ethical and it’s not right to be manipulated.

While I try my best to give as much information about the character of someone coming into a client’s life, it’s not always clear cut. On occasion, I see two or three potential partners coming in and it will be rightfully so that the client is discerning enough to make their decision about who they are drawn to and find attractive. Where there is a warning around a potential suitor, I also share that information. I’ll give you an example around this. A particular client came to see me and I saw that she was going to meet up with someone she already knew. However, the message was clear that this new friend would help himself to her things, and she would find herself looking for these things over the next few days! I told her that if she could cope with having a relationship like this, then it would be her decision to go-with-the-flow, but she was given fair warning. This very courageous client chose to go-with-the-flow but found after a while it wasn’t working because he became too brazen with his pickings!

It is wise to be aware of what irritates you about your special someone when entering into a new relationship. You may feel that once you’re in the relationship you’ll change their hair, their dress, the way they speak or behave … Perhaps he likes to wear open toe sandals and socks, but the rest of his wardrobe is pretty funky. Your thoughts may be that you’ll get rid of those shoddy shoes and get him to wear the latest trend. Somewhere along the line you may find that he’s never going to give up those sandals and socks and when you close your eyes, it’s all you can see. Remember, that little niggly irritation will become a huge mole on your partner’s nose when things aren’t going as planned.

On a final note, there’s nothing wrong with the desire to fall in love and find that special someone. It’s the most wonderful feeling in the world to have butterflies in the tummy and feel your beloved’s lips on your own … sigh! Let it all happen naturally though and don’t manipulate the situation. Allow things to unfold and allow yourself to be surprised. When you’re feeling good about yourself, that’s when you’ll attract the most amazing people into your life. When you’re desperate and forcing things to happen, that’s when you’ll repel the good energy. Be mindful about filling your aura with love on a daily basis to help you with your romantic journey, and remember to ask the romance angels for help along the way!

Manifesting - ‘Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it!’

It goes both ways – good and bad. When you’re grateful for things in life and are generally happy, you are rewarded with more good things. When you’re ungrateful and constantly complain, one tends to draw in more of the same. Quite simply, it’s the Law of Attraction. And it works throughout the Universe without emotion.

As we move from 3D into the 5^th dimension, all things, including the plant kingdom, fish, animals and our bodies, are being transformed into crystalline bodies, moving away from the carbon based cells. As we adapt to this lighter energy, our vibrations increase. This is known as the ascension process. It also means that we’re now in the dispensation where our thoughts determine our reality. We need to watch how we think, releasing negative thoughts rapidly so as not to encourage their outcome, but rather determine a more positive outcome (beneficial to all) with purer thoughts.

I want to share my experiences with you on manifesting, purely by using positive energy injected into my aura, intentionally done, in an area of my life where I needed it most.

Last year I was stuck in an toxic work environment where I constantly became sick with kidney problems. The atmosphere was thick with hostility and rudeness. Being sensitive, it became all the more intolerable. I prayed incessantly, put my CV out regularly, and asked for guidance. In all the tarot readings I did for myself I saw that change was inevitable, but it seemed to be taking forever. Moreover, I was inundated with my own clients who were complaining about the unhappiness in their work spaces, and several had even been retrenched. All the songs were the same: ‘Where will I get a job at my age in South Africa? I’m white, female and over 50!’

I listened to all of this and realised that if I succumbed to thinking the same way, I would sit in my unhappy place forever and become even more sick. There was something I had to do. Firstly, I refused to believe that there wasn’t a job out there somewhere for me and changed my thoughts, keeping them positive, letting go immediately of any egotistical negative nudges. Secondly, I started communicating it to the clients who I read for, encouraging them to formulate their thoughts into more positive channels – It doesn’t matter about age or race or what is happening in the rest of the world. I am placed in the perfect job for me. I receive it without hesitation and thank God for blessing me abundantly.

One evening during the bleak months, I attended a talk given by a homeopath on how the brain functionality affects the body, and just how and why the body reacts the way it does. In brief, we are actually given the signals via our bodies how our thoughts are affecting our lives! I made an appointment to see her a week later. She agreed – my brain needed some ‘re-wiring’ and I also needed to build myself up to the point where the negative surroundings would no longer affect me. With this process in mind, we worked on my aura, rebuilding and strengthening it.

I must mention that, along with my protection visualisation where I invoked the spiritual beings into my space everyday, I was also extending love from the heart chakra for a 20km radius to transmute lower energies into love. With the pummelling of the negative workplace, my aura was leaking and I was taking on all those negative energies without me knowing it. I was wide open to the abuse, thus causing me to fold and become more sick. I had also stopped seeing my own clients as I simply didn’t have the energy to cope with anyone else’s problems.

I took the homeopathic tablets every day as advised and watched the transition in myself. It didn’t take long – probably less than two weeks – when I noticed that whoever was mean to me in the workplace suffered a repercussion. As my aura became stronger, so my energy levels rose and I started consulting again. I felt revived and refreshed. I continued to put my CV out but now became more selective with the companies I submitted it to. I knew that change was imminent! I was no longer weak and with this new resolve I worked the Law of Attraction by staying positive.

Things that I merely thought of would start manifesting into my life. I’d think of a book that I wanted to read and the next minute it would be randomly sent to me via email. I’d think of information that I required, and leads and pointers would come across my path. I received a phone call in the small hours of the morning from a publishing house wanting to know whether my novel was ready, which left me astounded as my novel is still in my head!

I was ‘in tune’ again.

Unexpectedly one day I received a call from an employment agent who reminded me that I had applied for a job as an Executive Assistant for a Social Investment Manager, and that they would like to meet me as they had shortlisted applications received. She said that her and her colleague would come to meet me as they could see that I worked on the other side of town and possibly wouldn’t be able to get away. How considerate! In the moment though I knew that the Divine’s hand was at work. It’s not common these days for an agent to make the effort to drive across town to see a candidate.

We agreed to meet the following day at a venue chosen by myself to discuss the position. She said that they needed to establish whether I would be a ‘social fit’. The name of the company would also remain confidential until they met me. Over the moon at having been approached, I scarcely took in what she was saying. Even if this wasn’t the job, I said to myself, at least something is starting. Things are looking up for me!

The following morning driving to work, the phrase ‘social fit’ fell into my thoughts. What did she mean by that? Was I going to be different from everyone else and they needed to grill me to see whether I was amiable enough to withstand different cultures? I said to the angels, ‘Please don’t let my new boss be similar to the one I’m working for now!’ and ‘Please, please don’t let it be some corrupt government official!’ I started to become anxious. Out of nowhere came the small voice: ‘It’s for the Smiths*.’

‘No way!’ I said. By that time I’d arrived at work and there was no time to haggle with the angels. We speak regularly so this is not a new phenomenon for those who don’t know me.

Over lunch I met with the agents. They stressed confidentiality again, saying that security was tight with the family and that I would be working in a secure zone, and then told me the name. The Smiths*!

I think my jaw hit the table!

I went for the first interview and decided that it sounded like the position I would like to be in.

Armed with the information around the job, I contacted the homeopath again who had urged me to come back to her when I had been offered a position. She had emphasized that when my aura was strong and I was sending out the right vibes, I would be approached. Until that time, anyone would be able to pick up that I was anxious and my applications would be useless. She had offered to help me to manifest the job I wanted.

She showed me how to inject the right wording into my aura, concentrating for 15 minutes, all attention being given to what I desired. I spared no time in concentrating on manifesting the job, thinking of all good things to bring into my space. I had already drawn up a list of what my desires were so it was relatively easy.

Staying positive and truly believing that I had the job was extremely difficult though. Many times my self-confidence waned. I was also approached by another employment agent offering a similar position to the one I was in. However, the company was situated in a high traffic zone and the manager to whom I’d report sounded similar to the current one, so that application fell by the wayside.

A second interview took place two weeks later, and shortly after I found myself signing my new work contract!

I started working for the Smiths* just over six months ago. With the manifesting I had achieved what I wanted from a job.

BUT I want to share something else with you. The manifesting did not stop after I started here. There were many things that were so impractical about the position.

I sat upstairs, away from the other two colleagues. All the equipment was downstairs. I had to run up and down a steep staircase all day long. This was not ideal and frustrating.

The parking place was far away from the house I am working in, and the gum from the pine trees fell on to my car and little drops of it fastened on to the windscreen every day.

The other executive assistant was miserable and unhappy. There was no conversation, except when necessary. The atmosphere was starch and unfriendly.

Even the coffee machine was out of bounds. I’d been told that it was for visitors only.

I started walking every day at lunch time, talking to the angels, asking them why on earth I was placed in such a miserable place. Going in and out of the security area every day, I became used to the guards who became friendly. One day I dared to walk down the driveway (which was also out of bounds at that stage) and was admiring an area of the garden when one of the guards came over. He said he’d noticed me talking to myself. I laughingly told him that I was talking to the angels. He was hooked! He told the others, and since then I have been sharing angel information with them.

I decided that I’d best stay in my office, only seeking out company at lunch time when I went walking, still asking the Divine to sort out the miserable state of affairs here.

It was mid-December when a mountain was moved out of the way. The other executive assistant resigned and left immediately. Her office downstairs was now free and I moved into it. Lovely – all the equipment was here and there was no need to climb up and down the steep staircase. The atmosphere for me lightened.

During the course of January, an overseas manager visited the estate and noticed that I walked down the road to the house every day. She promptly set the tone that I can park outside the house. Out of the blue, she also interrupted a meeting and came in without invite to find out if I use the coffee machine, immediately showed me how to use it and made me a cup of coffee!

The manifesting had continued – the Divine had heard my prayers and set matters straight.

The universe doesn’t care whether your request is small or big, how impossible it may seem! When your head and heart is aligned with the Divine, things fall into place the way they should. Setting your priorities without waiver is the key to the art of manifesting.

Since being shown the correct way to bring your desires into your aura and putting that intention into your space, I have manifested a new home as well.

Last night was new moon, and I used the manifestation technique to bring in my Twin Flame. The time is right.

All manifestations are best done at new moon when the energies are right for bringing in your desires. I am sharing the manifestation tips with you so that you can too bring things into your life that will enhance your spiritual journey.

In no way is this manifestation technique to be used to manipulate anyone, especially in the form of a love relationship. Everyone has free will and forcing anyone to do something against their will present repercussions. Do the manifestations when you feel strong and confident and know exactly what it is that you desire, and not before. Also, be aware that it is important to mention the little things, like where your office equipment should be (i.e. closeby), suitable parking facilities, and that you desire friendly colleagues, etc. These may sound trivial, but when you are at work 8 hours a day, it’s important that you are happy and surrounded by supportive people.

Signs and Synchronicities

So many signs all around us. There are the tangible traffic signs, company and building signs, and the hand signals, the personal smiles and smirks, and the tell-tale signs on the body when illness lurks. The signs we see and the signs our intuition picks up. The list is endless. We seem to be ruled by them. Do this, don’t do that, watch out for this, take heed of that, it’s okay, it’s not okay. For most part of the day we pay attention to those pointing the way, and then for a small part of the day we look for the ones meant for us personally, if we’re open to them that is. 

It’s often when we’re down and out that we seem to look for signs that will indicate whether there’s a way out for us, and in our desperation we can miss those subtle signs the Universe sends us, and probably has been sending us all along.

When working within the light, one of the first aspects of the young journey is tuning in. As one tends to become more sensitive to hearing and seeing signs from the Universe it may start off gradually with a feather here or there, a coin on the ground, a message you hear on the radio, or via a friend or stranger that you know is specifically meant for you. The frightening part is when you think the signs or messages have stopped for some reason and you flounder all over the place looking for some validation. You want answers, you want to hear something, see something … for heavens’ sake where is everyone?

Just like prayers being answered or manifestations being met, the same goes for signs sent from the Divine. It goes with the Law of Flow. To keep things moving in your life you need to have clear thoughts, continually clear out the old thoughts that keep you in a negative space, throw out old stuff that no longer serves you, and have an open and honest relationship with the Divine. Holding on to the old will only stymy and set you back, keeping you in a rut which will in turn make you behave in a desperate manner. In a desperate manner, you will fail to see the signs, hear the signs and totally block yourself off from receiving the very thing you are longing for. When you clear yourself, you make room for the new to come in.

When I was a little girl my first “sign” was a visit from an angel some time in the dead of night. I was holidaying on my late granny’s farm and woke to find an angel in the room. He stood there and just looked at me, tall and white against the wall. There was no fear on my part, I was absolutely thrilled! The next day in my innocence I shared my vision with everyone, although I doubt whether anyone believed me.

Throughout my childhood I had an invisible friend who I spoke to and played with. In my early 20s when someone I loved dearly broke up our relationship, I saw the hand of Jesus coming down and I put mine up to take his, only to realise that nothing was there.

Having a Christian upbringing led me to have natural conversations with the Holy Spirit and Jesus. God was a little further away in those days and the conversations with him were a little more formal and I used to ask him for stuff more often than not! At that time I placed them in different categories, not really knowing any differently.

Some 13 years ago, the voice of the Holy Spirit told me that I was going to get a cat and her name was Sabrina. A few hours later the same day, I visited a cousin for tea and to my astonishment, her cat had kittens which were four weeks old. There were three grey males, and one reddish brown female. Sabrina. She became my child at the age of five weeks and still runs the household!

When I moved to Johannesburg, I discovered the esoteric fayres and went to have readings from time to time. The one that struck me the most was the angel card reading done by Irene, who has since passed over. She pulled up cards from three different decks and the message was all the same – truly confirming what I already knew since I was a kid – that I need to write.

It was some time after that reading that I started feeling a light touch on my left cheek especially late in the evenings; it was very gentle, almost breeze-like although there was no window open.

At the same time there was a stirring that I needed to do something for humanity, as though there was something missing from my life, and I started searching. I also found that my body was undergoing a tremendous change. Whenever I entered shopping malls or busy places, my legs ached so badly that I could scarcely walk. And in my head I started picking up others’ thoughts and I would know conversations before they began … Most of the thoughts weren’t pleasant and it was terribly disheartening. This is another story in its entirety, but it lead me to speaking to a friend who suggested I needed a mentor as my psychic ability had increased to the point where I needed help, especially on how to protect myself and she suggested one.

A couple of weeks later I found myself on the doorstep of a woman who channelled angels and spirit guides. To my amazement when she opened the door, it was Irene, the woman who had given me my first angel reading. On the very first visit we were chatting away when she became fidgety and said that a very large angel was standing in front of her and he was urging her to write something down. And that’s when Archangel Jophiel entered my life…

He was the one who had been touching my cheek to get my attention.

Dianne, healer of Souls. Know that I am with you and I surround you with love and light. We are all so pleased you are now using your gifts which have been brought from many lifetimes. You have been a healer, a prophet and a seer. Now you will learn to heal on many levels but physical healing is not the most important. Healing of the mental and emotional level is all important and you are gifted with that ability. Trust what you are given, know that you are protected and loved. Feel my presence with you always. I am Jophiel, Archangel of the Realms of Light.

That night when I drove home, he sat beside me and I could feel and see his presence. In one particular road the street lights were off and as we neared each one, they came on individually.

I had met Helve, my guardian angel, many years ago during a meditation with a spiritual group, but I didn’t know the power or the work of the guardian angel in those days. People in the group said that he was huge and took up part of the room. I had until this point taken his presence for granted. And now I had two invisible friends.

I found myself attending angel school, and during this period realised that Jesus was a part of the entourage too and so it there were four of us … The troupe was growing.

And then I started asking them for signs too. I didn’t only want to have contact during meditations. Where was my feather? Other people were given signs, where were my signs?

I finally got one. It was a large blue black feather on the floor in the middle of my bedroom. (There was no little body lying around compliments of Sabrina.)  Since then on numerous occasions the dark feathers have been left for me. I puzzled over the dark feathers for a long time until Uriel revealed that it was him who left the dark feathers – he has dark wings. He had joined the circle of four while we were out walking one day. I realised that there was one extra “body” in the row of walkers, and later he joined us when we went shopping. I had a feeling it was him although he didn’t reveal his name initially. He appeared to me when I was alone in my office some days later and confirmed it was him. We were now a team of five.

Whenever I go anywhere they are all invited and we go as a team. They are an integral part of my life and we make big decisions together, or they guide me what to do next.

One night I was sitting in the lounge when a little bird flew in, chased by the neighbour’s cat who had hurt it. I didn’t realise how badly the little guy’s leg was hurt until I put him outside later and he hopped around on one leg. I pleaded with the angels to heal the little fellow, expecting a miracle to take place before my eyes. It didn’t happen. Instead I felt that Ariel was around. She’s the angel who looks after animals and nature. She urged me to put him safely away from my cats in the bathroom. I lined the bath with a towel and put water and food down for him and prayed that he would be okay. During the night I dreamt that he came to visit me. He was now plump and happy and he showed me that his leg was healed but a little crooked. In that moment I knew that he had crossed over, and when I got up in the morning, he was dead.

And that’s how Ariel came into my life.

Since then Gabriel has popped up – she presents as a female. She’s terribly bossy and sits in the middle of the back seat and says there’s not enough space for everyone. For some reason she sits higher than the others. She has a wicked sense of humour. The group became 7.

At the beginning of this year I asked the angels to show me where we are going on holiday this year. I asked whether we could go to a place with a beach. Although a terrible swimmer, I love being around water. Over the next few weeks they confirmed several many times that we would be going to Phuket. Suddenly I was receiving travel brochures and adverts for Thailand. I asked for a quote from an agent who professed to be cheap and he added on a further R5 000 for a single concession. I was mortified and told my group that we aren’t going unless it’s reasonable, or otherwise we’d be going back to Umhloti this year. I shelved all plans. A week later an email arrived in the inbox of an email address I use only for accounts and personal applications. It was for an extremely reasonable package of eight days, 9 nights, flights and transfers, at such a reasonable price, even with a single concession, that I booked the same day! The plans fell into place. We were going to Phuket.

We recently returned from there. I want to be honest and tell you that I expected to have a huge spiritual revelation while I was there, but it didn’t happen like that. It was quiet in the beginning and a bit puzzling. I received no messages and no signs. After a couple of days of getting into the swing of relaxing as the previous weeks had been torrid, I found that my mind was quiet and at peace. I started realising that there was no drama, and I was also not feeding into any drama, I could focus on me and only me for a change. There was very little English spoken where I was as most of the tourists spoke foreign languages and only on occasion did I hear anything I understood.

One particular morning, a little bird sat on the balcony rail of my room; he ran up and down the rail and was clearly looking at himself in the glass. A friend! The little guy came around often after that and he spent a lot of time in the trees below my window. I’d often hear him chirp.

And then one evening I was told to open the book in the shelf below the tv. It was a book I’d noticed which was stacked with the hotel info and menu, and I assumed a guest had left it at the hotel. The book was titled “Inside and Outside” and was about the Buddha religion. I let the book fall open. It opened on the page called “Dana (giving)”. A sign for me. Last year the angels prompted me to change my name to Dana and I said that I’d use it when writing. Around about that time I was attending a metaphysical course and we were discussing the power of a name, and I was discouraged from changing my name. When I walked away from that class, the angels once again urged me to use the name. I travelled all these miles to have it confirmed once again. Apparently, they tell me, I don’t need to worry about the surname.

A few days prior to my trip, I became aware of a tall male around me. I sensed he was a Master and not a soul who needed to cross over or needed help. After reading the page on Dana, I became more aware that he was around. That Sunday I felt compelled to visit Big Buddha. Feeling very feminine in my new dress, I found a taxi to take me to the site. After strolling around and viewing the layout, eventually I went down to the kiosk at the bottom of the hill to find that a monk was now seated at the shrine and giving blessings. The urge to go for a blessing was so strong, I slipped off my shoes without a thought and within a few seconds found myself on my knees before him. I came away with water dripping from my hair and hands, and feeling so joyful. I don’t have a clue what he said but it didn’t make a difference.

In the days that followed the message I received was that it was a new cycle for me, there’s a new beginning. There is going to be no more drama and I’m not going to feed the drama in my life, that I have the capacity to step away from it. What feeds my thoughts will manifest and in order to manifest properly, I need to keep the thoughts positive and concentrate only on that which I want to bring in.

What I’ve shared with you are a few of the signs that I’ve received over the years. It may sound a little silly the way they come about, but nothing has been without synchronicity. On occasion when I’ve been uncertain, I have asked for help – without embarrassment. Sometimes I’ve asked more than once if I didn’t understand or simply didn’t get it. For a long time now I have manifested things almost instantly where I have merely thought things and within a short time the information appears or is sent to me, along with the right person who can help me. The way this is happening is incredibly powerful as it has shown me just how powerful the mind is. I’m now more careful of thinking negative thoughts and using negative terms as it only feeds an already bad situation. Two areas of my life remain “unresolved” and I am now consciously working on them.

Where you are experiencing conflict, it’s better to choose to share something troubling with someone who will listen without taking it on so that you can still voice your concerns, otherwise if you bottle things up, the troubles will manifest in the body and make you ill, signs I’m sure you have experienced yourself.

The good news is that our group is now a happy 8. The tall man who has made himself known to me is Lord Maitreya. I’ve shared some of his story with you in the latest Angel Digest newsletter. He revealed himself in a recent meditation as he walks beside Jesus and overlights the Christ consciousness. He is prevalent with regard to the Buddha tradition and is even known as the Laughing Buddha with the chubby tummy. He doesn’t present himself as the short fat man to me though, rather he’s tall and walks very upright. He brings in laughter and happiness. I’m still a little shy with him, however, I’m sure my group will help me overcome the shyness and we’ll soon settle in.

In the meantime, I have spurts of unexpected laughter that bubble up.

Whatever and wherever you go, the signs will always be there. Don’t despair even in the darkest moments. Take a step back and collect your thoughts. If possible, remove the emotion and wait. Patience will pay off and within a short while you’ll receive the sign/s you are looking for, perhaps not in the way you imagined. However, once you’ve touched the heart of God, you’ll be fed personally and individually. When you walk with angels, you’ll never be alone.

Some signs you can start looking for in your own life, and these will just be the start: feathers, coins, rainbows, signs in nature – like the formation of leaves and rocks or stones, messages in songs or on the radio – especially when you’ve asked a particular question, books that suddenly fall off a shelf near you, messages from friends or strangers in answer to a question.

Another sign is a totem animal. If you start seeing an animal, bird or insect that is not normally around you, then note what it is and find out what it represents. This is a very strong indication of whatever is going on in your life and again sent from the Divine to help you.

Remember whatever sign you receive will always be confirmed. It’s one of the Spiritual Laws. Not only once either, sometimes many times. There is always an open door to the angels and the Divine. All you need to do is open it. It’s already right before you. Tell your guardian angel today that you are willing and ready to learn what he has to show you. You don’t need to know his or her name to start the process. (The guardian angel meditation is on my website which will help you learn their name when you are ready.)

The angels are great motivators. They work gently and only with the highest intentions for your good and that of others. They will not harm you or harm others. If you are praying for something to your detriment or against another, it won’t work. Your tongue is your rudder in life, use it well.

There is so much magick out there for you to uncover. All your signs and synchronicities will be different to anyone else’s as everyone is on a different path or calling. There is so much fun and joy when working with angels, your life will take on a new meaning.

Twin Flame Relationships

You’ve been waiting for that special someone. In fact, you thought several times in your lifetime that This.Was.The.One - only to realise it wasn’t. You’ve since heard about a Soul Mate, and now there’s a Twin Flame. What on earth is going on you ask, if there’s a crooked lid for every crooked pot, where is yours and why is it eluding you?

Sounds quite complicated, and it can be, but let’s try and make it simple.

You are part of a soul group – consisting of 144 souls – called a monad. Each of the souls in your soul group are known as soul mates. Now soul mates may be your best friend, your colleague, a guy at the grocery store, a stranger who helps you who you may never see again, and with each encounter or relationship, you feel comfortable as if you know that person. You may even have a romantic relationship with a soul mate, and may even marry one.

A soul mate relationship may also be a karmic relationship that you need to work through, which will never work out. The same goes for a kindred spirit relationship.

A twin flame on the other hand, is a slightly different story.

Your soul has another half, or a twin. While in the ethers and before coming to spend your first lifetimes on earth, you parted. The soul has two aspects - a perfect balance of masculine and feminine, and each gave the other a chance to spend lifetimes on earth while the one spent time in the ethers. For many lifetimes this carried on. Bear in mind that while the soul split, each part is a complete soul in itself. It can survive without the other!

When heeding the call to come to help with the upliftment or ascension on planet earth, both souls decided to spend lifetimes on earth apart, with the final lifetime being the one where you come together and spend the rest of that lifetime together. Obviously you will have ascended on your spiritual path to this level.

If you are one of the lucky ones, this could be the lifetime where you will experience the Twin Flame relationship.

During the time of spiritual awakening somewhere deep inside, the souls realise that they are yearning for that great love, The One. And as they become more aware, they realise that they are yearning for their “other half” (not to be mistaken for the off-handed way some people describe and diminish their partners). Now the other half of the soul may be on another continent altogether and there may even be a substantial age gap between the two.

What makes the Twin Flame relationship so interesting, is that wherever they are, they will find each other. They will be telepathically drawn to each other and nothing will stop them from meeting up and being together. Their lives will have synchronicities that they never thought possible. When they finally meet it will be as though they have known each other all their lives, and of course they have, although it has been in the ethers or on other planes.

Previously it has been projected that Twin Flame relationships are difficult, volatile, and painful. The partners meet, stay together for a time, and then part, only to have the relationship flare up again. It was supposed that while the attraction is great, the intensity was too much, forcing the couple apart. Friends and family would look on this and not understand the relationship at all and even advise the couple to stay apart.

While the ascension process is evolving and so many souls awakening, our outlook has also changed on life. We are dealing with a much more evolved energy now, and so our souls have also evolved with regard to relationships. We are being prepared to handle the Twin Flame relationship. It is after all, the one that will reflect the shadow side of ourselves, where we can stand back and recognise something within ourselves that needs to grow. So the relationship need not be one of torment as we recognise where our short comings are, but rather that we accept what we need to work on. Your Twin Flame will be so much like you, that you will think alike, have the same interests, and may even have physical similarities.

The interesting part in all of this, is that until recently I really hadn’t taken much notice of the term “Twin Flame”. It was about two years ago, sitting with a fellow friend and psychic, Juanita, that she waved to someone over my shoulder and told me that my guardian angel was wanting to tell me something. Helve, my guardian angel, told Juanita that it’s not long to go now, not YEARS any longer, before my partner presents himself to me and that I’ll recognise him by his smell. (No, he won’t have a body odour problem!) But I am clairsentient and have always smelt things, including long term partners who I have loved dearly. Very few people know this, so when Helve sharing this with Juanita I knew it was a message directly from him. He went on to share a few more things and I was intrigued.

Not long afterwards, the smells started. For close on a year and a half I would pick up smells relating to doctor’s rooms, or hospitals or similar. I waited patiently, all the while thinking perhaps the partner coming in was ill and going through medical tests or at the dentist, you name it. These smells presented at the most strange times – when I was in the car, at the office, in fact, anywhere, and I knew that it was related to my future partner. In the end I came to the conclusion that he's in the medical field - surely someone can't be ill for such an extended period of time?  Out of curiosity I found myself asking friends how old their respective doctors and dentists were so I could check them out. I realised too that this wasn't going to work as there are a myriad of them out there, and I would also be forcing or manipulating the issue, and in the end I gave up. After all, if something or someone is going to come into my life it needs to happen naturally.

I recall forcing a relationship when I was in my early 20s, and even sitting on the poor chap so he couldn’t go home! It ended in marriage and a subsequent divorce some years later!

At a full moon meditation a few months ago, I eventually asked the angels with whom I work to help bring a partner into my life. My spiritual growth has been immense over the years and I feel I have the time now to expend on a relationship. Before this, to be honest I had changed my mind many times – yes, I’m ready, no, I’m not …  So I set the intention and did the little magick that goes with it and have left it safely in the care of the Divine. 

Later the same week, the smell changed – the one I associate with my future partner. No more medical smell. It was the smell of wild flowers, and earth, as though I was spending time outdoors, but there I was diligently sitting at my desk working.

You can imagine my confusion!

On occasion it has been the smell of engine oil.  Was he having car problems? On another occasion something was burning and the smell was so strong that I ran around the house looking to see whether a plug had set alight, only to realise that the smell was nowhere except in MY nose; on several occasions I have smelt tobacco smoke and I had the feeling he was with other people who were smoking; there have been pleasant soapy smells, and on occasion a tinge of perspiration; and so it continues ...

Now you’re probably asking if I am clairsentient, how do I know that it’s Him and not someone else who is around me? I interact fairly often with spirits who call at my home and sometimes at the office, who want to pass on a message to their loved ones. When dealing with them I do sometimes tune into their smell but it’s in the moment when they appear to me and as soon as the message has been received, they disappear. There is a definite divide.

In the meantime, I have had some clients who asked about the Twin Flame and even some who have said that they are anticipating this great love coming in, a few who can smell their partner too. It can be mind-blowing as it can drive you crazy. So I started doing some research on the subject and found that it’s not so strange at all. This is how things work on the soul level – the contact, the dreams, the smells …

And along with it … the waiting game … 

With the current energies surrounding us, especially now, and with it being a period where great change is taking place, those relationships which are not working will part. This includes romantic relationships as well as friendships. The karma that we carry from previous lifetimes is working its way out.  We don’t need to come back in another lifetime to finish some or other karma, we can do it right here and now. We don’t need to go through the same dramas and traumas over and over. We don’t need to have those difficult and painful relationships which destroy us. We can deal with every issue as it arises NOW in this lifetime.

We have progressed to the point where everything is all about love and we can return to the very basis on which we are built - love. 

Love yourself first and work on yourself first. This will ultimately allow the love of your life to come in.

Cut the cords of energy vampires, cut the cords of difficult relationships, open yourself up to receive the greatest blessing of all: Love.

Watch your actions, watch your words.

Having casual sex will also limit the chance of your soul mate coming in. You are saying to the universe that you aren’t ready emotionally. Really get to know the other person before committing yourself sexually.

Remember your intention. Focus. Don’t waver.

Your Twin Flame relationship WILL work out. It is an agreement that you made with your twin flame before returning to earth that you will meet up when you are both here. If you have had a relationship which didn’t work out and you are convinced it was your Twin Flame, it wasn’t. It may have been a soul mate or karmic relationship or kindred spirit relationship, but not your Twin Flame.

Meeting your Twin Flame may take a while, but it will be worth the wait.

Note: Soul mate relationships also work, never doubt that. Some people will have soul mate relationships during this lifetime as their Twin Flame didn’t incarnate during this lifetime. There is nothing wrong with that as it was agreed before you returned.
